Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Named One of 2018’s “Great Colleges to Work For’ by Chronicle of Higher Education
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is proud to announce that it has received The Chronicle of Higher Education’s â€ designation.
Only 84 colleges were honored, out of 253 participating accredited institutions nationally. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is one of only two Western New York area honorees, the other being Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester.
Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ was recognized in the following four categories, based on surveys that employees filled out earlier this year: Professional/Career Development Programs; Respect & Appreciation; Supervisor/Department Chair Relationship; and Work/Life Balance.
Such a dynamic, supportive work culture cultivates commitment and innovation within the ranks, according to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ President Bassam M. Deeb.
“Working at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ means being part of a tight-knit, family-like community, and we are lucky to have in our Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ family some of the hardest working, most dedicated and compassionate staff, administrators and faculty members in higher education,â€ he said. “We find purpose each day by helping students achieve their career goals and change the trajectory of their lives for the better, ‘meeting the unmet needâ€ like our founding Sisters of Mercy.’
Thank you to all our employees for everything they do to make Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ a wonderful place to work!
